The Well-Worn Path is not a Tarot deck. It is a unique divination system designed specifically for the needs of modern Pagans, Witches, and Wiccans who seek something more rooted in Nature based spirituality. The idea for this deck arose from a recognized need for a system that speaks to the Pagan culture of our European ancestors.

The title "Well-Worn Path" was chosen to reflect the idea of the long ancient spiritual path to modern times. The image is one of a path trodden with the footsteps of those who have walked in these ways since perhaps the beginning of time. Here our ancestors left to us a trail to the ways we now seek to follow as we extend the path to our own new vistas.

Unlike our deck, the Tarot originated from ancient Hebrew mysticism, ceremonial magical systems of the Renaissance period, and other influences. As a community we have been presented with Tarot decks modified to reflect our imagery in order to appeal to us as Pagans, Witches, and Wiccans. But what has been missing up until now is a unique divination deck and system that is based upon authentic Pagan roots, as opposed to the borrowed symbolism and structure of other systems.

The Well-Worn Path deck is designed to present and reveal the symbolism, meaning, and teachings that are the far-reaching roots of modern Paganism and the Craft.

The images in this deck depict the spiritual and religious concepts that were the foundations of European Paganism as once known to our ancestors.

In this deck we have preserved and presented the important, vital, and viable traditions and beliefs that we all continue to honor into modern days. Here we have captured the knowledge and wisdom of ancient times for contemporary application. It is our honor to be able to share and pass this on to you here in the Well-Worn Path deck.

The design of each card has been carefully thought out and includes important and valuable imagery. The descriptions provide the reader with the tools and keys to access the hidden Mysteries. The foundational teachings revealed in the cards are the cobblestones that have been placed to lead you down the Well-Worn Path. Now you will be able to use these relatable images for divination, ritual, personal alignment, and teaching. It is our hope one day you will extend the path for those who walk behind you.
